Frank Lilley

Frank retired in 2017 having been a Director of Beechcroft since 1994. He now acts as a consultant to the business. His professional background includes an Oxford University degree in History and Modern Languages; partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Swiss associate; moved on as head of European corporate finance at Savory Milln; then a Director of James Capel Corporate Finance.

“I wanted greater independence and opportunities to work hands on with small and medium sized firms, and to offer them a combination of UK and cross-border financial advice from experienced corporate financiers to whom such companies normally cannot get access. Beechcroft is a different advisor in that we are a group of entrepreneurs advising clients who are often also entrepreneurs.

“We bring them a capability that is missing from their management – the equivalent of using a partner from a major accountancy firm at an accessible price.

“We have an outstanding delivery record and are always there to help with short- and long-term objectives and to navigate the future for our clients.

“Our range of services is counter-cyclical covering fundraising and problem solving as well as deal doing, so we can help steer clients through rough as well as good times.”
